unresponsive to treatment.

3. A 40 year old ex IVDU presents
to his GP with a 2 weeks history of progressive odynophagia. He is only able to tolerate cold fluids
but still finds his mouth is very dry and sore.
4. A 45 year old woman has a
history of persistent PUD which is unresponsive to treatment. Urea breath test
was negative.
5. A mother brings her 2 year old
son to the GP. He is very irritable and the mother tells you he has been
passing stool more frequently than usual. On examination, his abdomen appears
distended.
